It’s Fall Y’all! Cozy Season Must Haves

When I think of Fall, I think about nothing but making sure my home is full of comfy vibes, pumpkin smells, fun decor and flower arrangements that capture all the colors of this special season. Now that summer is officially over, it’s time to put away those bikinis and whip out those scarves, because it is finally cozy season! Although I live in Los Angeles, and it never really gets cold here until around Thanksgiving, I always make sure to make my place encompass all seasons no matter what the temperature says outside. Here are a few of my favorite must haves that help capture the feeling of Fall:

1. Candles

There’s nothing better than lighting a pumpkin candle this time of year, but sometimes it does get a bit overwhelming with its sweetness. My current favorite is the Nest: Pumpkin Chai scent. My sister, who is not the biggest fan of anything pumpkin related, bought this for not just me, but for herself. She described it perfectly, as sweet but too sweet! The smells of pumpkin, cinnamon and even some hits of vanilla make the room smell cozy. I just might have to buy a three wick so it never ends!

2. Body care

Who doesn’t love bath and body works? Their speciality is always getting people in the seasonal mood with their products, and nothing brings me more joy than purchasing the Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin body care. Take advantage of their buy two get one free! I tend to always get the body wash, body lotion and body butter…. yum!

3. Pumpkins

Nothing to link here, but pumpkins are the cheapest way to bring the spirit alive at home. Head over to your local grocery store, or a pumpkin patch (if they are open) and grab yourself a pumpkin to the size of your liking! I prefer buying one big orange pumpkin, and a small white one as well! You know… because basic.

4. Home decor

Who doesn’t love decorating their home for the holidays? I personally do, however I do live with someone who isn’t the biggest fan. There’s always a fun compromise where I throw decorative pillows here or there, get beautiful flower arrangements from my grocery store, or even throw a decorative sign on my door! I’m placing links below to some fun pillow I purchased for my place:

5. Once a week themed dinner!

I enjoy cooking a ton, and nothing brings more Fall vibes than cozy home cooked dinner. I have a handful of favorites I cook every year, so here is a list of just a few:

Brown Sugar Dijon Glazed Pork Loin

Pumpkin Alfredo

Healthy Butternut Squash, Spicy Sausage and Spinach Pasta

Apple Pecan Fall Salad

*Bonus* A themed bottle of wine

I know this sounds crazy, but even my wine puts me in the spirit of the holidays. Last year, I bought a red blend called Phantom, which was only supposed to be limited edition for Halloween. I was thrilled to find out that it was so popular, that now it is available all year round! Not only is it at an affordable price of $15.00, it is also one of the most delicious wines I have ever had. The bottle is spooky, and the name is chilling on its own!

I love the change of the seasons, with the leaves falling, the air getting chilled each passing day. I hope you loved my Fall must do’s, and I’d love to hear from you!
